The wall reads: “They’ll destroy my community because of the Cup.” My friend Pleks painted this graffiti mural while we recorded the stories in Rio de Janeiro’s Favela do Metrô. The film below tells you their story. Their homes, hopes and dreams are being destroyed for what they believe will be a parking garage for the World Cup in 2014.
